TKX Pilates workouthe KX Pilates workout increases intensity by recruiting the most number of muscle fibres in the shortest amount of time, and by reducing the time between sets. With this increased muscle fibre recruitment along with working at constant pace throughout our 50 minute power workout, you will be constantly challenged and engaged, focused on the task at hand at all times.

 

Based on the IsolateFatigueStretch principle, this new style of training works by targeting the whole body through continuous, precise, controlled movements and functional exercises that increase the intensity of the workout, whilst at the same time engaging the core and delivering cardiovascular conditioning. This burns more calories per minute, resulting in a much stronger post-exercise reaction. In other words – after a KX Pilates class, you will continue to burn calories hours after the class has finished!
The focus on increased intensity, precision movements that work specific muscle groups harder and longer and stretching to improve the range of movement is what sets KX Pilates apart from the rest.

 

KX Classes

KX1 (Entry level class)

These classes are designed for first time KX Pilates clients, regardless of fitness level, and individuals who are new to fitness as well as KX Pilates.  We ask that all new clients complete a minimum of 4-6 KX1 classes in order to familarise yourself with the KX Pilates dynamic training method, basic principles and exercises.  Please feel free to ask your trainer for guidance with your progression up to KX2 classes if unsure.

KX2 (Intermediate)

These classes require a reasonable fitness level and dynamic pilates experience. They are designed to progress and challenge the knowledge, strength and flexibility you learnt and acquired at KX1 level. Whilst also introducing some new exercises to your repertoire. Making you feel the burn and build up a sweat!  We recommend completing 20-30 KX2 classes before trying out KX3. You can then mix and match your schedule to include both KX2 & KX3 classes.

KX3 (Advanced)

These classes will take you to the edge!! Teaching you new and complex movements and exercises flows, challenging not only your strength and fitness but also co-ordination, technique and proprioception.  A stimulating workout, suitable for all with a sound knowledge of KX2 and a good level of fitness.
